先日、マレーシアからお越しいただいた素敵なお客様、ママさんAyu様と娘さんをお迎えしました。以前、空様がマレーシアで日本語を教えるボランティアをされていた時のご縁・ホストファミリーさんだそう。
そしてママさんは空斗さんの英語の先生、
空斗さんはママさんの日本語の先生として素敵な交流が続いているとのこと。
Recently, we welcomed a wonderful guest from Malaysia, Ms. Ayu and her daughter. They were a host family through Sorato’s previous experience volunteering as a Japanese teacher in Malaysia. Ms. Ayu is Sorato’s English teacher, and Sorato is Ms. Ayu’s Japanese teacher, so they continue to have a wonderful relationship.

ご来店当日はあいにくの雨模様で、空斗さんとお2人も心配されながらのご来店でしたが、日本の伝統的な着物を纏い、日光の歴史ある土地でとても記念に残る、場所、とても素晴らしい写真も残せる特別な場所があるのですよ！とご案内させていただきました。

When they saw the photos we’d taken the other day, they were so moved! Their smiles seemed to blow away all their worries about the rain!
Seeing their excitement brought joy to our staff, too.
They put on their favorite kimonos and set off to explore Nikko. It seems this experience was the highlight of their trip to Japan.
