The anxiety and near self-doubt that I, Endo from COCON NIKKO, felt during the COVID-19 pandemic was likely shared by many in the service industry—especially those who provide things that are not “essential for survival.”
It was a deep and serious question: What is the meaning of our work?
While feeling profound respect for those working in essential fields—healthcare, infrastructure, education—I found myself questioning the value of what we offer. That internal conflict, I now realize, was itself something deeply meaningful.

After about 80 meters, turn left at the Towa-cho intersection.
Drive straight for 450 meters on Route 119—the shop will be on your left.
Approx. 8 minutes from the “Nikko” exit.
