はるばるドイツから日光へお越しくださったファイザーさんとバービーさんとの心温まる出会いについて、皆さまにご紹介したいと思います。
初めての日本、初めての日光、そして初めての浴衣体験を心ゆくまで楽しまれたお二人は、私たちスタッフにとって忘れられない、本当に特別な存在となりました。
Hello everyone! This is e manager of Nikko Kimono Rental COCON NIKKO. Today, I want to share with you a heartwarming encounter we had with Mr. Pfeifer and Ms. Barbie, who traveled all the way from Germany to Nikko.
This was their first time in Japan, their first visit to Nikko, and their first yukata experience, which they enjoyed to the fullest. They truly became unforgettable and special guests for all of us here at COCON NIKKO.

お店に入った瞬間、ここがまさにここだと確しました！とても温かいおもてなしと、的確なアドバイスをいただきました。暖かな気候だったので、様々な生地や通気性についてアドバイスをいただきました。私たちは浴衣を選びました。そして、豊富な種類の浴衣の中から、お気に入りの一枚を選ぶことができました。店員のルナさんは、貴重なアドバイザーとして私たちをサポートしてくれました。着付けが終わると、丁寧に愛情を込めて着付けてくださり、このお店の真摯な仕事ぶりが伝わってきました。着付けの後は、ヘアスタイルも自由に選べました。特に、その間に一緒に来てくれた店長のミサさんとの撮影は、とても楽しい時間でした。帰る前には、短い写真撮影があり、特別な気分になっただけでなく、たくさんの笑いが起こりました。お二人とも、着物を返却する際、とても親切で丁寧な対応をしてくださりました。全体的にとても居心地が良く、すでに他の友人にもこのお店を勧めています：
日光でこのお店から伝統衣装をレンタルして正解でした。幸運を祈っています。またいつかお会いできるのを楽しみにしています！

“The moment we stepped into the shop, we knew this was exactly the right place! We received such a warm welcome and precise advice. As the weather was warm, we were advised on various fabrics and breathability. We chose yukata, and from the wide selection available, we were able to pick our favorites. Luna, one of the shop assistants, was an invaluable advisor, supporting us throughout. When it came to dressing, she helped us meticulously and with great care, which truly conveyed the earnest work of this shop. After dressing, we were also free to choose our hairstyles. In particular, the photoshoot with Misa, the manager, who joined us during that time, was a lot of fun. Before leaving, we had a short photo session that not only made us feel special but also brought a lot of laughter. Both of you were incredibly kind and attentive when we returned the kimonos. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience, and I’ve already recommended this shop to other friends:

Through our encounter with Mr. Pfeifer and Ms. Barbie, we once again contemplated Germany as a country.

From the Middle Ages to modern times, Germany has been the stage for numerous historical events and has greatly influenced the world in all fields, including philosophy, music, literature, and science. The list is endless, with musicians like Bach and Beethoven, writers like Goethe and Schiller, and philosophers like Kant and Hegel.
The medieval castles and beautiful churches remaining in various regions, and modern and contemporary historical legacies like the Berlin Wall, all tell the story of Germany’s rich history and culture. Just as Mr. Pfeifer and Ms. Barbie were interested in Japanese history, Germany also breathes with history worth deeply exploring.

It’s full of diverse charms, from small villages retaining medieval charm to cities where history and modernity merge. For the two of them, who enjoyed Nikko’s rich nature and historical scenery, Germany’s beautiful landscapes are surely also a spiritual home.
