Recently, we welcomed a wonderful guest from Malaysia, Ms. Ayu and her daughter. They were a host family through Sorato’s previous experience volunteering as a Japanese teacher in Malaysia. Ms. Ayu is Sorato’s English teacher, and Sorato is Ms. Ayu’s Japanese teacher, so they continue to have a wonderful relationship.
Sorato and the two of them are visiting Japan! We wanted them to have a special experience in Nikko, Japan.
This was Ms. Ayu’s second visit to Japan, and her daughter’s first. Sorato chose our kimono rental service, wanting to “have a special experience in Nikko.”
A special photo in a historic place, blowing the rain away. Unfortunately, it was raining on the day of their visit, and Sorato and the two of them were a bit worried, but they arrived in traditional Japanese kimonos and found a special place in Nikko’s historic land where they could take some truly memorable photos! “, we told them.
When they saw the photos we’d taken the other day, they were so moved! Their smiles seemed to blow away all their worries about the rain!
Seeing their excitement brought joy to our staff, too.
They put on their favorite kimonos and set off to explore Nikko. It seems this experience was the highlight of their trip to Japan.
